Event description

The Graduate Awards are now open for chefs aged 23 and under. The competition will test and improve their skills through an examination process which includes a paper entry, heats and final examination. The final exam involves creating a ‘mystery basket’ dish, classic main course and a dessert.

North West Young Chef Competition

Event description

A competition for those under 23 who are ready to show off their skills. If you are passionate about food and can cook a 3 course meal for 2 people using local produce, then you really should be entering the North West Young Chef of the Year Competition. See the website for more details.

Rotary Young Chef Competition 2017

Event description

Rotary International runs a series of regional competitions for catering students aged 11-17. The competition is specifically for young people in full time catering education - you will unfortunately not be able to enter if you work full or part time in catering. The regional heats feed into a national competition, sponsored by Fillipo Berio. Previous winners have received prizes such as work experience in exclusive restaurants, and last year's winner won a trip to Tuscany.
